Focaccia with cheese

Specific to the Italian cuisine, foccacia type bread can be prepared both simple and with different toppings.

Preparation time

80 minutes




400 g flour

25 g yeast

400 g soft cheese

7 tablespoons oil

2 teaspoons salt

300 ml of water

Method of preparation

Mix flour with salt, add oil, water mixed with yeast and 5 tablespoons oil.

Knead this dough well, then put it in a warm place, about an hour.

Stretch the dough well, then place it in a greased pan with the rest of the oil, spread over the grated cheese, then, from place to place the salt press.

Bake foccacia with a fork, then bake at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.


For a special aroma, sprinkle on top of the dough, before baking and fresh rosemary leaves.
