Institute of Management and Sustainable Development (IMDD) launches the third edition of the project Children's Street. It will take place from September 21-28 and will take place in the open air cultural festival, C'Arte Street, organized by the Carol I Central University Library and the Carol I University Foundation.

Creative workshops, street art, events, competitions, green grass reading and special guests will transform for a week str. Boteanu in a space of interactivity, play and education within reach of the little ones and the big ones. Access to all activities is free.


Continuing the project initiated two years ago, to promote arts and culture, IMDD organizes "Children's Street", which brings together activities for children between the ages of 3 and 14 and adolescents. The project aims to develop a model of non-formal education and to popularize the concept of learning through play and play.
The program of the event includes workshops for drawing and painting workshops, modeling workshop, collage, hand-made objects workshop, street art workshop, green grass reading sessions. All activities are supervised by IMDD volunteers, and the workshops are supported by special guests: artists who will guide the little ones in discovering the mysteries of each activity. The complete program of activities is available online, both on the website www.imdd.ro and on the website www.stradadecarte.ro, in the sections dedicated to Children's Streets.
Besides the program for the little ones, the Institute of Management and Sustainable Development organizes the fifth edition of the debates Education at the grass, the theme of this autumn being "Water is life!". The debate will bring together representatives of the media, non-governmental organizations and companies. Young people will be encouraged to express their opinions and be as active as possible in the discussion.
Continuing the efforts of social involvement, IMDD will organize this year the book-collecting campaign "Every child deserves to read - Donate a book!". All participants in Children's Street and C'Arte Street are encouraged to give at least one book in the specially arranged space, and all donations received during the event will go to organizations and centers for children.
The access is free to all the activities provided in the program, and the participants will receive diplomas and prizes for their involvement in the different activities proposed.
