Pepper sauce baked capia

The Capia Coptic pepper sauce can be enjoyed alongside a lot of meat or fish preparations and can also be stored in the winter, if kept in the refrigerator, in tightly closed jars. Here is the simplest and tastiest recipe.

5 peppers per capita

2-3 cloves of garlic

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon of brown sugar

1/2 chilli (optional)



Method of preparation

Wash the peppers and bake them, on a hob or in the oven, then clean them from the peel and place them in the blender. After they have turned into a paste, add in the blender olive oil, sugar, garlic, salt, pepper and hot pepper. Mix the ingredients for another minute. If the paste is too thick, add a little olive oil, to give the sauce proper texture.
